I went to Carnegie Mellon, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, Public Policy, and Ethics. I earned a master's degree from American University in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Social Policy and Non-Profit Management and Leadership. I have more than ten years of experience as a tutor, and have worked with students in elementary, middle, and high school. I specialized in helping students who were struggling and falling behind in their coursework. I assist students with their assignments, in comprehending material, applying to colleges, test prep, and in forming effective studying and organizing strategies. I specialize in tutoring Reading, History, Writing, Government, English, and Civics, though I've worked with students in many other areas. In addition to these subjects, I can help with Advanced Placement coursework, Literature, Persuasive Writing, Public Speaking, Religious Studies, Geography, to name a few. I ascribe to the idea that everyone has the tools to succeed in education, and I would be happy to help in the process.
